Informaimmigrati District Network 2008 In 2008 the services provided by the Informaimmigrati District Network in the Polesine territory will continue. They include information, first reception, guidance, escorting foreign citizens who live in the Polesine territory or are about to reach it. Some of the services offered are linguistic-cultural mediation involving various geographic-cultural areas (Arabic, Chinese, Eastern Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, etc.), cultural mediation in prisons, free legal advice and support to the services of the Rovigo Police Headquarters (Questura) and Prefecture.
Information and advice to foreign and Italian
citizens in relation to the rights, duties and procedures
established by current laws on:
- Permits to stay, deportation, family
reunion;
- Health services: health card, sanitary
booklet, medical and specialist examinations, vaccinations;
- Social, education and family services: schools,
nursery schools, Italian language courses, professional
training courses;
- Employment opportunities;
- Accommodation and available facilities;
Help to carry out social and cultural
initiatives and intercultural activities;
Promotes acceptance and solidarity by
working in team with local associations;
The service makes use of language and
cultural mediators of various languages;
Legal advice and mediation service is
also available in prison.
